Even though Tania & Adamantios live in Switzerland, they wanted their special day to be held in their country of origin, Greece. Santorini was the perfect place for them as their wedding was also going to be a chance to have a short holiday with their closest friends and family.

The wedding ceremony took place in a traditional Greek Orthodox church. Little interior decoration was necessary as Greek Orthodox churches are naturally beautiful, with heavy gold accents and rich-colored iconography.

For their reception they chose a beautiful rustic venue by the sea which our team of experts styled and decorated artfully by blending together the natural wooden interior of the venue with the elegance and romance the couple were after. In Tania's own words, “while I had been on Pinterest a lot during the planning process for inspiration, what I loved was that Wedding Wish did take elements from these pictures and create a style and vision that was personalized to us as a couple and what we wanted for our guests.”

Ivory escort cards were organized next to the wedding favors that were small vases with “koufeto”, Santorini's traditional wedding sweet. Luxurious orchids together with a lush arrangement of olive leaves and roses and glass vases with twinkled lights complemented the charming atmosphere.

Once at the reception venue, guests entered the “land of true elegance”. Ethereal white fabrics sparkled with fairy lights, lanterns and bouquets of white hydrangeas, roses and olive leaves created a magical atmosphere and led the way to the breathtaking open space ballroom. The wedding party including the new Mr and Mrs sat on a long table accented with gold and white dinnerware. The overall look was completed with gold chiavari chairs, a gold sequined runner on top of white linens and lush low flower centerpieces composed of white hydrangeas, roses and olive leaves. Olive leaves wreaths also decorated the bride and groom's chairs adding an extra tone of freshness to the evening.

Another special highlight was the table of delicious desserts that was offered during dinner. From cake pops to mini baklavas to cupcakes all on individual glam tiers, scattered among gold candle holders and impressive florals have left even the most picky sweet-tooth satisfied.

Was the end result what Tania & Adamantios wanted for their special day? “They were (Wedding Wish) just an exquisite group of individuals, who can take any space and create the wedding of your dreams,” Tania confirmed.

Thank you, T & A, for letting us be a part of your special day. May you have a blissful married life together!
